a literary cabaret, where everyone is welcomeIt started in 2016 as the Point Street Reading Series, because local book events felt too few, too serious, and not nearly fun enough. Today, The Cardigan Connection is Rhode Island's original author series, bringing bestselling and buzzworthy authors to an intimate stage in Providence for readings, conversation, laughs, and a signing line that always turns into a party.

Tickets for The Cardigan Connection and our signature events are sold at robinkall.com/tickets. Popular nights sell out, so grab yours early.
02Do I have to read the book first?
Not at all! Most guests read it after, once they've fallen for the author. Many tickets include a copy of the book, so you'll go home with something great to read.
03Is it okay to come on my own?
Absolutely. Plenty of guests come solo and leave with a new book friend or two. It's that kind of crowd.
04Can you bring a specific author to our event?
We'll certainly try! It depends on the author's schedule, tour, and publisher. If they're not available, we'll suggest a few others your group will love just as much.
05How much does it cost to book an author?
It depends on the author and the event. Many touring authors visit through their publisher at no speaking fee, while well-known names and celebrity authors often have appearance fees and travel. We'll walk you through every option up front.
06Are you an author or publicist with a book to share?
